Attendance Allowance claims
What is Attendance Allowance?
Attendance Allowance is a benefit paid by the government to those who need support when it comes to your care. It is not means tested, so don’t worry about what your income is. The support is either £68.10 or £101.75 per week dependant on the level of support required.
In order to claim the benefit you have to fill out an eligibility form on the Government website so they can assess whether you are able to claim the money. The payments can’t be backdated and it can take a while to process, so make sure to get it started earlier rather than later.
So how can we help?
IWAM can support by helping your fill out your Attendance Allowance forms correctly, therefore increasing the likelihood of a positive response.
We can also advise if you are not an appropriate candidate for the benefit so you don’t waste your time applying.
