Supporting your loved ones with their medication
Failure to take medication on time, every time, at the right dosage, is a serious problem that results inevitably in poorer health outcomes. So families will want to know their loved ones at home are properly supported.
Older people can be more forgetful, and those living with mental health issues often struggle with adhering to medication regimes.
In addition, there is a widespread problem of deliberate non-adherence – driven by a complex variety of factors.
But there are ways in which medication adherence can be improved.
Our in-home monitoring system (PAMAN) lets us literally see medication being taken, so families can be sure their loved ones are not missing doses or taking the wrong drug. Even better, it means there’s no need for a carer to visit on every occasion.
A friendly face
The PAMAN system consists of a video hub that’s placed in the home; our qualified and experienced pharmacy technicians call every time meds are due, witnessing and recording on every occasion.
Our remotely lockable medicine cabinet (REMLOK) can be opened (and closed) by our technicians to observe the removal of medicines, their administration and replacement.
And there is much more we can do, including issuing reminders for appointments and giving advice on medicine-related issues. Plus, our technicians are a friendly face and are happy to chat, so you get a lot more than just medication support.
The PAMAN system dramatically improves overall health outcomes – ultimately saving money for the NHS and reducing the burden on the social care sector.

We would be delighted to talk to you about how it could help support your loved ones, so call us to arrange a meeting or demonstration.
We look forward to hearing from you.
