At Alzheimer’s Society our aim is to work towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives, and we are the only dementia charity to tackle every aspect of dementia and give help for today and hope for the future. As a society we are made up of people with dementia, carers, trusted experts, campaigners, researchers, clinicians. We are the UK’s largest collective force of people with unparalleled knowledge and over 40 years of experience addressing the biggest challenges facing people living with dementia. We are currently in our five year ‘Help and Hope Strategy’, and we believe that this will help us make the biggest impact to people’s lives.
I am Jess, a Community Fundraiser and ultimately in a nutshell this means that I am your charity best friend. I go on the fundraising journey with my supporters, which means that I am there to support them throughout the highs and lows. The support I give can be in lots of ways, I lead from the supporter. From providing merchandise to attending the events that the supporter puts on, these are just a few ways that I can help. As a goal I would like for others to understand that Alzheimer’s Society is a national charity, however it is more local to you than you would think, with myself being in Cheshire and on hand to support, and the services that we provide in Cheshire.
