Houlbrook Physiotherapy

Here at Houlbrook Physio we offer a range of services for our patients. We mainly work out in the community, going to patients homes or into nursing homes and residential homes across Cheshire to provide quality rehab. We also have a clinic based in Clotton just outside Tarporley where patients can come to us. At the clinic we share gym space so we are able to offer classes for older adults and also for patients awaiting hip and knee replacements or post-surgery to build strength and power. At the clinic we are lucky to have Nathan from Revive Injury Rehab who works as an associate clinician. He provides sports rehabilitation, assessing our younger patients and getting them back to sports, he also covers musculoskeletal injuries and sports massage.

We have a broad range of experience in elderly rehab, orthopaedic rehab, neurorehabilitation and respiratory physiotherapy. Our team consists of Jo, our clinical director, who spent 11 years working in the NHS in the acute setting before setting up Houlbrook Physiotherapy in 2015. Kim is our junior physio who started her journey into physiotherapy with Houlbrook physio last year after qualifying with 1st class degree from Liverpool University, she’s building her skills in community rehab an elderly care. Over the years we have built links with several other professionals and work closely with private GPs in the area, OTs and NHS community physios and GPs.

We cover Tarporley and surrounding rural villages and towns across Cheshire and into Chester city centre. We offer a face to face exercises class aimed at over 60’s to maintain strength and fitness into later life. We want to support our patients to achieve their goals and get back to the things they love.
