At I’m Worried About Mum we’re big believers of giving back.

We support the local community through volunteering our time, expertise and training individuals on how best to support other members of the community who have dementia or have a loved one with dementia. Not to mention our carers support group which you are welcome to join!

We want to make the community a great, welcoming place to live in, whatever anyone is going through.

So what can you do to support people locally?

  • Volunteer in your local community, if you have time. You can do this at a number of charities or through a local organisation like Rotary
  • Support local businesses, shopping local keeps our local business owners thriving and their doors open, it’s great to do this where you can
  • Treat people with kindness and respect – this costs nothing and is so important

You never know what people are struggling with behind closed doors, whether it’s illness, stress or overwhelm, it’s important to support those around you where you can and share a little kindness.

In our experience, what goes around, comes around and it really makes us feel fantastic when we give back.

How can you give back this week?
